To the Faith of the World
I find it interesting that the faith of Islamic and Judaism both share similar views on Jesus not being Christ. Both have dismissed him as a prophet, and Judaism however believes that the Messiah has yet to come. This is why Passover continues to exist today. If you to consider the New Testament, it's hard not to consider Jesus as Christ. To help reach a conclusion, ask yourself "Why did God harden Pharaoh's heart?" I use to avoid the question but I guess avoidance got old. Long before Moses and Exodus, we were under the covenant, an agreement by God communicated to man to account his sin. Man was put on notice. Many were killed in the wake of the flood.

21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savor; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done. Genesis 8:21

The scripture implies even after the death of so many, God smelled sweet savour. Also mentioned of some level of God regret toward the loss but not much emphasis on man. God further pointed out that this will not happen again, not at least in the form of water. Even during the days of Moses and the Tabernacle, sacrifices and offerings were common practice. However, unlike Egypt, the loss of life with Noah was the results of the people decision not to partake in the building of the Arc. Unfortunately, nowadays such clarity is distorted by the lack of memorial tributes.

3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things 4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat 5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man 6Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made man Genesis 9:3, 4, 5 and 6

Although a head for a head and a tooth for a tooth may imply vengeance, it is not. It means when you take one, you owe one. He that at his hand acquires a head of another has at his hand acquired his own head. Remember, only your head can replace the head you took. In other words, it was man’s heart that got him here and it will take man’s heart to get him out. Even with Cain, God put a mark on his head to caution those who sought to kill him. Cain could not fix his problem with someone else head. It was someone else head at his hands that got him in trouble.

15And the Lord said unto him, therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. Genesis 4:15

11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there anymore be a flood to destroy the earth 12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a of taken a covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:11, 12 and 13

The Lamb of God and of man.

Moses mentioned how he lack eloquence and slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

11And the Lord said unto Moses; who hath made man’s mouth? Or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have I not the Lord? Exodus 4:11
3 "And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt." Exodus 7:3

Moses was told by God that he will harden Pharaoh’s heart to prove he is God. The effects on Pharaoh's heart proved paramount, many innocent lives were lost in Egypt as a result. The blood of the lamb placed on door posts were earmarked as a token to the innocent blood lost in Egypt. A head was taken in Egypt that night for the sake of man and was replaced at the cross to redeem him.

12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firsborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment; I am the Lord. 13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. 14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever. Exodus 12:12, 13 and 14.

Although the Passover and feast thereof serves as a memorial under ordinance forever, it does not remove Jesus as the lamb of God and of man. Why else would God Sanctify the firstbone of man and beast?

1 AND THE Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine. Exodus 13:1

Here God makes claim to all who are Sanctify of the firstborn, both man and beast. Israel was God’s firstborn but Jesus was his only begotten son.

Egypt back then had all the gods and power that man could mustered. The environment was perfect for a showdown, man and his gods vs. God, a scene of two gladiators.

The Jews by far as proclaimed were not the only partakers in the offering Jesus to death but all man.

But the chief priests and elders persuaded the mutitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus ST. Matthew 27:20

According to scriptures, Jesus, the firstborn, was to be sanctified and given to God. A man chosen a long time ago.

Did you forget whosoever openeth the womb and are sanctified both man and beast, is mine said the Lord? The token of our sins were redeemed at the cross for what happen in Egypt. He is the lamb who replaced the token blood on the door posts. Some may differ in the birth and lineage of Jesus while others see it as an opportunity to share him.

11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the : 12 Wherein were all manner of four footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. ACTS 10:11, 12, 13, 14 and 15

21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? Romans 9:21

Peter thrice rejected God's food but only to eat it later in wisdom. How long will you reject Jesus who is descended by God to the common lamb?

Nicodemus too was caught up in the natural whereby he thought Jesus meant that man had to return to the womb of his mother to be born again. Even Judas deep in his heart knew that gold nor death by itself could measure up to innocent blood.

3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and rought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. 5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. 6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. ST. Matthew 27:2, 3, 4, 5 and 6

The wages of sin is death and as a result someone must die. Being reborn again is a fair example. You may choose not to give thanks, but it is paramount that you accept Jesus as the lamb who redeemed sin. A man even in his own innocence laid down his life for the purpose of fulfilling the covenant. At the cross the covenant agreement was redeemed and the smell of sweet and savor had returned. He did not come to change the law but to fulfill the law.

It is important that we still put God first in every praise and gratitude for He is the Lord of host. It is said that nowadays we no longer live by the law but by grace. Let man be a liar and God the truth, said Paul. We are predicated on the life we live and often by the things placed in front of us. Be defined by God and not by man. Surrender all as a man who leaves his gourmet behind. Behold all thing are new. In the resurrection there is no death but only life and rebirth. There is no old but new, rise and walk.

Thank you for your blessing and God bless you.
